Oderland-woodpellets are formed form untreated wood off-cuts (e.g. sawdust) under high pressure. Lignin which is content in the wood provides for the firmness of the pellet rolls. Oderland-woodpellets possess a low ash content and a low residual moisture. The pellets can be stored inside closed dry rooms without problem. Ash that is generated from combustion can be discharged with the domestic waste or used as garden fertilizer.
Environmental friendly heating with woodpellets
Wood is saved solar energy. Thus heating with woodpellets is almost CO2-neutral. With combustion of woodpellets only the amount of CO2 is released as it was fixed during during wood growth.

new guidelines: up to 2.500,- EUR for pellet heaters
central pellet heaters with an efficiency of at least 89 %, a respirable dust emission of max. 50 mg/m3 and a heat capacity of 5 to 100 kW are sponsored by the German federation. The subsidy amount is 36,- EUR per kW, at least 2.000,- EUR, with installation of a buffer storage at least 2.500,- EUR. Further information in German at www.depv.de.
